Iasonas was involved in sports from an early age and participated in various sports with great success, culminating in his participation in the Swiss National Water Polo Team. At the age of 16, while doing gymnastics, he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage due to arteriovenous dysplasia, an abnormality in the structure of blood vessels that had been present since birth. He soon realized that he would have to learn everything from scratch such as talking, writing, reading and walking. Although the doctors had informed him that it would be difficult for him to get up from the wheelchair and that the progress he would have wouldn’t be great, after just 5 months Jason stood on his feet and 7 years later he has managed to rebuild his life. He is a motivational speaker in schools and rehabilitation centers, he is studying to be a social worker and his goal is to help other people overcome their difficulties by believing in their abilities.
