A war photographer undertakes to photograph armed conflicts and their effects on people and places. His work is a combination of passion, risk and purpose. Enduring the constant threat of gunfire and bombs, they must balance taking the photo with survival. The emotional toll is huge as they witness death and suffering on a daily basis, often leading to PTSD War photography has become more dangerous with the advent of terrorism in armed conflicts, as some terrorists target journalists and photographers According to the Committee to Protect Journalists CPJ since 1992 over 1500 journalists have lost their lives, most of them in war zones
