“Now I feel free to do whatever I want”

Sotiris / Recovering Addict

Sotiris / Recovering Addict

The story of Sotiris is a classic case of addiction disorder. Coming from a good family, raised with love and without having shown any kind of extreme behavior, no one could have predicted that at some point in his life he would using cocaine and heroin avidly. In the nightmarish years that followed, he lost his job, broke up with his family, went to prison and relapsed after every attempt at detoxification. Recently, he has had health problems, and as he claims, the doctors who would operate on him were trainees and found the opportunity to practice with a drug addict who no one would have been looking for him anyway… Today he is 1.5 years clean having completed the 12-step program of the Arogi 12+ Counseling Center
